Request: A client that owns and runs co-working spaces was growing quickly and needed assistance with licence negotiations, trade marks, fundraising and employment issues.

How we helped: We drafted the client’s initial licence terms and instructed property specialists in the negotiation of leases as the client expanded to new sites.  Our team subsequently supported the client on a fixed-term retainer to raise series A funding.  We continue to support the client with licensing, employment and contractor arrangements and disputes as well as assisting with registration and enforcement of its trade mark portfolio and company secretarial matters. We continue to refine their standard terms to help streamline our client’s engagements with their customers and ensure they spend less time negotiating licences and more time investing in customer experiences.
